MMAMTA Musicathon: Information
Every year in February or March, MMAMTA presents an annual fundraiser in the form of weekend musical entertainment known as Musicathon. This friendly musical event can offer great exposure for your family and friends!
Musicathon is Mid-Missouri Area Music Teachers Association’s (MMAMTA) only fundraising event. Your involvement will help local students receive financial support through MMAMTA Scholarships and other charities. The MMAMTA scholarships will help fund summer music camps or college education for students, and in addition, local charities like the Samaritan Center (JC) and Volunteer Action Center (CoMO) receive a portion of the funds raised.
There are three main ways to get involved:
All the options allow you to meet the talented musicians in our community.
Memorization is optional and all styles of music may be performed.
Please contact our chairs if you would like to participate as a performer.
